Polyband Media is a subsidiary of the Splendid Media AG which produces and markets entertainment programmes.

Included in licence evaluation are cinema broadcasts, DVD and Blu-ray in the German-speaking areas. Polyband has obtained extensive film rights, particularly in the areas of documentaries, special interest, children's and animation films, and TV series too. The main emphasis of the programme lies in the documentary area. Polyband presently offers more than 150 different documentaries in the various subjects. In addition, strategic cooperation with leading production enterprises like the BBC or Discovery, with various public broadcasters, the ORF, WGBH/PBS and many first-class independent producers assure actuality and the quality of Polyband’s range. Titles like e.g. “Planet Earth” and “Our Blue Planet” are landmarks in TV documentary history, inspiring millions of viewers around the world.

Nationwide PR support from 2002 to 2006. Included were development and implementation of various PR and promotional measures for the film start of "Dragonball Z – the movie”, as well as the entire PR support for various DVD sales starts, e.g. the Galileo DVDs "Miracle World of Everyday Life" and "Total Technology", as well as the German Sat.1 telenovela "Verliebt in Berlin".
