Attention, image, trust, reputation – online and IT PR work is clearly more than just an online press release
Basically, Public Relations for online and IT functions on the same principles as in any other business sector. However, there are some things that work completely different. One of our first start clients was the largest German meta-search engine, metacrawler.de. This was over ten years ago and it worked until the search engine with the two OO's in its name came along. Bad for us, but we learned an awful lot from this experience. And we're still learning to this day, fortunately, because there is no branch that changes as fast as this one. It keeps us on our toes and it's fun, too. We are constantly observing the internet and know the tricks of the blogosphere. We strategically plan communication between business-relevant groupings, both online and off, each relevant to its own sector (media, investors, customers, etc.)
